Battle of Britain 1940.'Aircrew from across Europe, from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and all parts of what was then the British Empire joined the RAF in its 1940 battle for freedom. Across India ordinary people helped fund aircraft to join the fight. Polish aircrew made up the second largest nationality among the ‘The Few’. Proportional to their numbers, Polish battle successes and losses were higher than for any other nationality. Our design lists all the Polish aircrew killed in action, beneath the symbol of the Polish airforce and the words 'For Freedom'. Wear it with pride, against fascism then and now.
