The Face of 2 Tone

The Face of 2 Tone

Invented by The Special's Jerry Dammers, the 2 Tone records' logo was called 'Walt Jabsco'. Jerry had bought an old American bowling shirt from a charity shop and it had the name Walt Jabsco embroidered on the back, Jerry liked the name so much he adopted it for his figure.. The figure itself is based on a photograph of reggae legend Peter Tosh that Jerry had also found.  Monochrome, homemade, almost an anti-design yet hugely effective to symbolise the music the 2 tone bands played. Our 40th anniversary edition a newly, and entirely original, pixelated version carefully made up of hundreds of black and white checks.

Available in unisex size small (36inch chest/90cms) and women's fitted size12. Stocks as per the drop down menu below.
